		<description>To clarify, and to further demonstrate how far afield you and I were, what the guy with the machine gun at the gate of the king&#039;s kraal actually told me was &quot;Take off your headdress.&quot; By which he meant the baseball cap I&#039;d bought a week back at Umlani Bush Camp. 

I was absolutely sure at the time that we didn&#039;t want to be dancing in front of the king. But, yeah, at this remove, I keep thinking what a rare opportunity we missed. If we had lived, of course. 

Finally, I want to second the part about Swaziland in general being a gorgeous, welcoming country. And in case anybody reading this is interested in souvenirs from southern Africa, save your money for Swaziland. Some of the craft shops in the Ezulwini Valley, where we spent most of our time, are world class.</description>
