Dave is…
looking back at his year of retirement.
On the eve of my departure to law school, I finally sat down and did something long overdue. Here is the numerical breakdown of Dave’s European Adventure:
147 days
112 nights in a hostel
13 nights on friends floors
5 overnight trains
5 nights with the band
3 nights in airports
3 overnight buses
2 nights couchsurfing
2 nights in a monastery
1 night in a bedouin tent
40 border crossings
37 books read
26 Football matches watched on TV
22 countries
11 Football Matches attended
11 flights
7 concerts
7 people I saw from home (ora, leah, briers, josh, dad, sarah)
3 movies
3 days of snowboarding
2 continents
2 crazy canadian travel companions
2 items stolen (hat, datebook)
2 items lost (towel, cell phone)
1 NFl Europe World Bowl
1 Latvian Basketball League Finals
1 Shrovetide Football Match
1 Russian National Disc Golf Championships
1 bowl of mixed goat brains
0 monorails (sigh)
Damn, that was a lot of work. But lack of monorails WEEEEEEEEEEEEE (thanks PeeWee) aside it was also a pretty damn spectacular trip. Law school will be a lot more work for a lot less scenery. Hopefully tomorrow Ill get up some details on this list.

Dear Dave,
After monorails you are supposed to say WEEEEEEEEEEE! not sigh. Eventhough you did not get to ride on any. Buck up and give the monorail the respect it deserves.
