Professor Hills on Grades
Well it could be all the pressure he’s getting from gunners and it could be a result of all the Oxycodone or it could just be his honest if high strung style but Professor Hills began class today with the greatest speech on grades and finals that I have heard from anyone (and a lot of time is spent in law school pontificating on grades finals and their relative merits). There was actually spontaneous applause from the class. Seriously.
So since I’ve mentioned several times how entertaining his style is and cause he tapes his lectures I took the liberty of pulling the relevant portion and posting it here. So listen, and enjoy the rare chance to hear a professor suggest that the reward for gunning for an A might well be blowing your brains out at a firm. Brilliant.
That’s the kind of lecture that makes me want to go back to school again.
